Termination Grounds by Jo-Anne

Jo-AnneM.com (Jo-Anne) reserves the right to refuse or terminate a session with a client, at her own discretion, refuse, discontinue or defer the session. In this instance full payment is still required and no refund will be given, examples of when this may occur include:

•             If the client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of the session;

•             If the client’s actions, words or behaviour are inappropriate or of a sexual nature;

•             If the client is threatening, aggressive or violent, or in any way poses a risk to myself.

 

 

AromaTouch Technique - Client Consent and Waiver Agreement

•            If I experience pain or discomfort during the session, I will immediately inform Jo-Anne. I will not hold Jo-Anne responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience before, during or after the session.

•            I understand that the service offered today are not a substitute for medical care.

•            I understand that Jo-Anne is not qualified to carry out a medical examination or provide a diagnosis and I agree not to interpret her comments as medical advice.

•            I affirm that I have notified Jo-Anne of all known medical conditions and injuries.

•            I agree to inform Jo-Anne of any changes in my health and medical condition. I understand that there shall be no liability on Jo-Anne part should I forget to do so.

•            I understand that treatment is non-sexual in nature.

•            I agree that Jo-Anne will need to disclose my personal information, if required to by law.

 

Life Coaching - Client Consent and Waiver Agreement

•            I understand and agree that the coaching services that I will be receiving are not offered as a substitute for professional mental health care or medical care and are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any mental health or medical conditions. I also understand that Jo-Anne is not acting as a mental health counsellor or a medical professional.

•           I understand that coaching is, at present, an unregulated industry and that Jo-Anne is not licensed by any internationally recognised regulator. I also understand that for all legal purposes, the services provided by Jo-Anne will be provided  from any remote location worldwide.

•           I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my well-being during my coaching sessions, and subsequently, including my choices and decisions after the session.

•           I understand that coaching is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment, and I will not use it in place of any form of therapy.

•           I understand that all comments and ideas offered by Jo-Anne are solely for the purpose of aiding me in achieving my defined goals and does not replace the advice that I should obtain myself from a physician, psychologist, lawyer,  financial advisor, accountant, or any other professional service. I give my informed consent, and hereby give such consent to Jo-Anne to assist me in achieving such goals and aims. Jo-Anne is not promising me a specific outcome due to free will.

•           I understand that to the extent our work together involves career or business, Jo-Anne is not promising outcomes.

•           I understand that Jo-Anne will protect my information as confidential unless I state otherwise in writing. If I report child, elder abuse or neglect or threaten to harm myself or someone else, I understand that necessary actions will be taken,  and my confidentiality agreement limited in this capacity. Furthermore, if Jo-Anne is ordered by a court to provide information or to testify, she will do so to the extent of that the law requires.

•           I understand that the use of technology is not always secure, and I accept the risks of confidentiality in the use of email, text, phone, or other technology.

•           I hereby release, waive, acquit, and forever discharge Jo-Anne, any agents, successors, assigns, personal representatives, executors, heirs and employees from every claim, suit action, demand or right to compensation for damages I may      claim to have or that I may have arising out of acts or omissions by myself or by Jo-Anne as a result of the advice given by Jo-Anne or otherwise resulting from the coaching session. I further declare that this agreement shall bind my heirs, executors, personal representatives, successors, assigns, and agents.

 

Spiritual Guidance – Client Consent and Waiver Agreement

•            I understand that the spiritual guidance that I will be receiving is not offered as a substitute for obtaining information myself from a physician, psychologist, lawyer, financial advisor, accountant, or any other professional service.

•            I understand that spiritual guidance is, at present, an unregulated industry and that Jo-Anne is not licensed by any internationally recognised regulator. I also understand that for all legal purposes, the services provided by Jo-Anne will be provided from any remote location worldwide.

•            I understand and agree that I am fully responsible for my well-being during my spiritual guidance session, and subsequently, including my choices and decisions after the session.

•            I understand that spiritual guidance is not a substitute for counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, mental health care or substance abuse treatment, and I will not use it in place of any form of therapy.

•            I understand that all information, comments, or ideas offered by Jo-Anne are solely for the purpose of helping me to become my best and highest self or what is best for me based on my energy at the time on the session, I give my          informed consent, and hereby give such consent to Jo-Anne to assist me in achieving this objective.

•            I understand that Jo-Anne is not promising any specific outcomes in any area of my life, as only I control the outcome of my future due to free will.

•            I understand that Jo-Anne will protect my information as confidential unless I state otherwise in writing. If during the session I report child, elder abuse or neglect or threaten to harm myself or someone else, I understand that necessary  actions will be taken, and my confidentiality agreement limited in this capacity. Policy on lateness, cancellation, and no-shows:

24-hour advance notice is required to reschedule or cancel a session.

If you do not give Jo-Anne this advance notice, your fee for the appointment will be forfeited.

Please take the time to email, text or call me if you need to reschedule or cancel.

Jo-Anne put this time aside for you, and if you do not show or contact her, she cannot make that time available for another client.

If you are late, you will forfeit that time, your session will finish at the originally scheduled time.

Jo-Anne will wait 15 minutes for your late arrival, but after that she will consider this to be a no-show.

Please shop mindfully.

 

You will be remitting payment as a “Service”, not “Goods”. You are not paying Jo-Anne for a product.

You are paying Jo-Anne for her skills, knowledge, experience, insights, foresights, and time.

You are paying Jo-Anne to set aside everything else in her life, for the duration of your session.

When you book a session, you are receiving a customised, personalised service, not any ordinary product. 

 

Returns and Refunds

doTERRA products purchased via doTERRA - Jo-Anne M are handled directly with doTERRA.

AromaTouch Kits purchased via doTERRA - Jo-Anne M are handled directly with doTERRA.

AromaTouch Technique Sessions - no refunds will be given after the session has commenced; or if you do not give Jo-Anne 24 hours advance notice to reschedule or cancel the session prior to commencement of the session.

Life Coaching Sessions - no refunds will be given after the session has commenced; or if you do not give Jo-Anne 24 hours advance notice to reschedule or cancel the session prior to commencement of the session.

Spiritual Guidance Sessions - no refunds will be given after the session has commenced; or if you do not give Jo-Anne 24 hours advance notice to reschedule or cancel the session prior to commencement of the session.

 

Refunds will be processed promptly, and payment made by the same method that you made payment. All refunds are made at the discretion of Jo-AnneM.com.
