Personal Life

I come from a diverse background, with my mother hailing from England and my father from Greece. Sadly, both of my parents have passed away. I am the eldest of six siblings, with two brothers and three sisters.

My education journey began at St John's Primary School in Frankston, continued at St Edmunds in Croydon, and concluded at Aquinas College in Ringwood, Victoria, Australia.

I pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Society, Life, and Learning online while working full-time at ANZ, my first full-time job which I started at 18 and continued for 23.5 years.

Traveling has always been a passion of mine. Some of my most cherished trips include visits to Tahiti, the mainland USA, Hawaii, Vanuatu, New Zealand, a 14-day cruise around the South Pacific, Dunk Island, and the Great Barrier Reef.

I also enjoy weekend getaways to the forests, where I can unwind, relax, and enjoy hiking.

One of my most rewarding teaching experiences was when an 18-year-old young man (Josh) lived with me for six months as he prepared for a two-year mission for his church.

Volunteering has been a significant part of my life, with two favorite experiences:

  1. Facilitating self-reliance courses on Emotional Resilience, Personal Finances, Starting and Growing a Business, Education for Better Work, Finding a Better Job, Eating Healthy and Being Active, and Life Skills for Self-Reliance.

  2. Educating people on how to lead their best lives by promoting self-reliance and maintaining a low-tox, healthy, and happy lifestyle both mentally and physically.
